Casablanca Mohammed V Airport is in Nouaceur, 31 km from central Casablanca by road, around forty minutes outside the rush hour. Morocco's busiest airport, with more than 11 million passengers in 2025, it is the main base of Royal Air Maroc and serves the country's economic capital. The airport has two main terminals: Terminal 1 handles Royal Air Maroc and its partners, Terminal 2 the other international airlines. On arrival, since June 2023 both terminals have shared a single passport control hall with 47 desks. On the first weekend of August 2026 the airport handled 46,439 passengers in 24 hours, its busiest day on record.
Departures were reorganised in 2025: the scanners at the terminal entrances were removed on 5 March, the second passport check was replaced by automatic gates on 15 March, and since 15 April passengers are dropped off on level 1, outside the departure halls, with entrances assigned by airline and a free ten-minute drop-off zone. Level 0 is reserved for arrivals.
The railway station is underneath Terminal 1: ONCF's Al Bidaoui regional trains reach Casa-Voyageurs in about thirty minutes, then continue to Casa-Port. A new terminal is under construction: the contract was awarded in January 2026 to the SGTM-TGCC consortium, with completion planned for mid-2029 and a link to the future high-speed rail line.

01How long does it take from Mohammed V Airport to Casablanca?
The airport is 31 km from central Casablanca by road, around 40 minutes when traffic is light and longer at peak times. ONCF regional trains leave from a station underneath Terminal 1 and reach Casa-Voyageurs in about thirty minutes. Allow more time for Anfa, Mohammedia or Rabat, depending on when you land.
