AGA · Agadir Al Massira
Good to know about Agadir Al Massira Airport.
The airport has a single terminal, shared between domestic and international flights and designed for 3 million passengers a year. Traffic has outgrown that figure: 3.5 million passengers in 2025, up 11%. The expansion contract, awarded to SGTM in August 2025, will enlarge the terminal to around 75,000 m² and raise capacity to 7 million passengers a year.
Traffic is 85% international (January to July 2026). Ryanair, which opened a base here in 2022, operates the most routes, ahead of easyJet and Jet2; France and the UK are the two main markets. British visitors were the destination's largest group of foreign tourists in 2025, and winter is their season: Jet2 links Agadir with seven UK airports over winter 2025-2026. Summer remains busy too, with 11,973 passengers in a single day in 2026.
The A7 motorway, opened in 2010, links Agadir with Marrakech across the western High Atlas. On the coast, north of the bay, Taghazout is 52 km from the airport.

No: a single terminal handles all flights, with separate areas for domestic and international traffic. 02When is Agadir Airport at its busiest?
The airport is busy all year round. Winter brings holiday flights from the UK and northern Europe, and summer set a record of 11,973 passengers in a single day in 2026. The terminal, designed for 3 million passengers a year, handled 3.5 million in 2025, pending the expansion awarded that same year.
03How far is Agadir Airport from Marrakech?
