# Fast track, meet and greet, VIP lounge or private terminal: what you need at Marrakech airport

A VIP lounge is somewhere quiet to wait before boarding; fast track and meet and greet are about getting through the formalities, on arrival and on departure. At Marrakech Menara they are separate products, sold separately, and private flights use a fourth route entirely: the business-aviation terminal.

Where we stand: we sell an escorted Fast Track Premium, 200 EUR per adult, 100 EUR aged 2 to 12, free under 2, on arrival or departure, booked at least 48 hours before the flight. We do not sell lounge access and do not handle private jets. This article explains what each product covers.

## Four products that get mixed up

"VIP welcome", "fast track", "meet and greet" and "VIP lounge" are often used almost interchangeably. Here is what each means at Marrakech Menara.

| Product | What it does | When | Who can use it |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Fast track | Access to the priority lane at the checks, when it is open | Arrival or departure | Anyone who buys it |
| Meet and greet | An agent meets you with a name sign and stays with you through the formalities | Arrival or departure | Anyone who buys it |
| VIP lounge | Seating, drinks and Wi-Fi after the checks | Departure | Depends on cabin, status or a paid pass |
| Business-aviation terminal | A separate terminal with its own formalities | Private flights | Private-jet passengers and crew |

The short version: a lounge does not save a minute at passport control, and fast track does not get you into a lounge. When both are offered together, it is a bundle, at a separate price.

## Fast track: the priority lane

Strictly speaking, fast track means access to the priority lane at passport control and, on departure, at security. Depending on the offer, you either go to that lane on your own, or an agent walks you there and then leaves you: the service then ends at the priority lane at passport control, before baggage reclaim and customs.

It does not remove any formality. Border police, customs and security apply to everyone, and you hand over your own documents. It also helps to know the numbers. According to Airports of Morocco, passport control at Marrakech took 6.86 minutes on average on arrival and 5.09 minutes on departure in the first half of 2026. A six-month average, though, blends quiet hours with the moments when several European flights land in the same slot. What fast track buys you is predictability on those days, not a guaranteed time.

## Meet and greet: one person from start to finish

Meet and greet, sometimes sold as a VIP welcome, adds a person. The agent is waiting as you leave the aircraft, stays with you through passport control, baggage reclaim and customs, and walks you to the exit. On departure, they take you from the terminal entrance to the gate area.

That is what we sell as Fast Track Premium: one formula, always escorted. Your agent meets you as you step off the aircraft with a sign bearing your name, guides you to the priority lane when it is open, and hands you over to your chauffeur if you have booked a transfer. On departure, they accompany you from the drop-off point to the departure lounge. Your flight is tracked, so the actual landing time is what counts, at no extra cost. The details are on our [Marrakech Menara airport fast track page](https://www.tmcconciergerie.com/en/fast-track-marrakech-airport/).

A note on wording, because it confuses people: by "departure lounge" we mean the gate area every passenger reaches after the checks. It is not a VIP lounge.

Not every meet and greet ends in the same place: some leave you at the terminal exit, others hand you over to a driver, and a porter is sometimes included, sometimes extra. Compare what each one includes before you compare prices: our page on the Marrakech airport fast track price sets out the three types of offer.

## Marrakech airport lounges: who gets in

There are two ways into a lounge at Marrakech Menara, on departure.

- The airline lounge. Royal Air Maroc lists "L'Oasis VIP Lounge" at Marrakech on its lounges page, and says Safar Flyer Gold and Platinum members can use its lounges, with one guest. Access by cabin class should be checked with the airline when you book.
- Paid access. Lounge passes are sold online for departures, whatever your cabin class. Before buying, check the name of the lounge, its terminal, its opening hours and how long before the flight you can use it: we found no dated official source on which paid lounges are open at Marrakech in October 2026.

If you want both the escort and a lounge, that means two purchases or a bundle. In that case, ask which lounge is included: an offer that does not name it gives you no way to check its access rules.

## The business-aviation terminal, open since 2020

Since 1 February 2020, Marrakech Menara has had a terminal dedicated to business and private aviation, the second in Morocco after Casablanca Mohammed V. According to Morocco World News, it covers about 3,000 m², including two spaces that ONDA awarded to private operators through a tender. Passport and security checks are carried out on site.

Access is arranged through your flight operator. Passengers on scheduled flights cannot use it, and no fast track leads there. We do not offer a private-jet service.

## Which one is right for you

- Flying business class or holding airline status: check your airline lounge first. It will not speed up the checks, and on arrival the real question is still whether you want an escort.
- Arriving with children, older parents or a lot of luggage: a lounge is no help on arrival. What helps is someone with you from the aircraft to the car, with a [private transfer from Marrakech airport](https://www.tmcconciergerie.com/en/marrakech-airport-transfer/) booked at the same time.
- Happy to find your own way and only want the priority lane: an unescorted fast track may be enough, and it costs less. We do not sell one.
- Departing and wanting a quiet place to wait: a lounge pass does that. Our escorted departure, from the drop-off to the gates, is booked separately with its own flight number.
- Flying private: the business-aviation terminal is arranged with your flight operator.

Whatever you choose, your airline's check-in deadline still applies, and no service replaces it.

## Booking the escort on arrival or departure

Our Fast Track Premium is the same service at the same price in Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Fez and Agadir. Arrival and departure are booked separately, at least 48 hours before the flight. You see the price before paying online by card, in euros, and cancellation is free more than 7 days before.
